I’m a Native Son of Texas, but I‘ve lived in California ever since I married Malibu Barbie 25 Years ago. I tell you this so you know I’m on Pacific Time. Most of waking moments are spent thinking about Bucking Bulls and most nights dreaming of them. Just ask my wife. I guess it’s good to have a passion in life.

In 2004 I was looking for Bucking Bull semen to use on my cows. I found hundreds of websites featuring a few bulls on each one. Online auction sites like The Breeder’s Connection were fun, but I wondered why there wasn’t just one site where I could see a good selection of bulls and compare them side by side. In 2005 Nate Morrison offered Paid Adverting spots on his Message Board. I had some semen to sell, so I was one of the first to buy one and it worked great. Trouble is I didn’t want to flood the Board with my semen advertisements. I decided I needed to build a website and StrawBoss.com was born. It went on to become what I believe was the first and most successful sites of its kind.

Similar sites were established later, but I was able to work with most of them, not against them. One or two big competitors popped up to Help new breeders “learn the ropes”. I never really considered the used car salesman types as competition since I’m not really into leading lambs to slaughter. Most of my customers are hard working people like me, so I never wanted to be so "Exclusive".

The first site was hard for me to update, and I’m no computer whiz. Although we had some success, I always felt like I could be doing it a lot better. In late 2009 I decided it was time to take StrawBoss.com to new heights and build it into what it ought be.

Now I have new website and I like it so far. I have many firmly established business relationships and friendships with breeders that lead the industry. I try to have something for every type of buyer out there. StrawBoss.com has unheard of 100% customer satisfaction record and a strong determination to succeed. In short, I’m All-in ‘til the wheels come off.
